We have traveled from our root to our crown. I hope you have been following along and have gained some awareness into your self in these practices. There is no end to this work. In staying connected with and aware of the energy flowing through our energy body, through our chakra system, we maintain a deeper level of balance and health.
Sahasrara……..When we get to this chakra I always tell the students that there is not as much to say about this center as there is to experience.
We access this center through focused meditation and inner reflection. As we go deeper within we gain greater clarity of our lives, our connections and our connection to Source. We experience more time of calm, of contentment, of peace. At this point we know there is really nothing to achieve and nothing we need to make happen. We have arrived. We are simply here. And it feels very right.
There are a few who have spontaneous openings of Sahasrara. A near death experinece or simply a moment of grace. Who can know the mysteries of this world. Where they “get it”. They see beyond the beyond. They know that there is no more need for struggle. That all is playing out exactly as it needs to play out. That no matter where we are it is ok.
Most of us will spend our lifetime moving this direction through our daily meditation, yoga, tai chi, chi kung………what ever it is that takes you to that very quiet place inside where you connect with something much bigger…….I like to call it the Divine, Spirit, Source Energy or the Sacred. You may call it whatever feels right to you.
The practice this week is to simply be in the silence. After you have found a place of quiet, you may bring your awareness to the crown of your head and just breathe there. See what you experience. You may create an intention to deepen your connection to your Higher Self or to the Divine. Focus on your breath. You may imagine an opening like a camera shutter on the top of your head and from there connecting upward. Create your intention to connect but then just let it drop and allow the experience to be what it is. Sit quietly for 20 minutes. Your attention will wander. Simply bring it back to sahasrara. When you feel complete, take a long deep breath. Take some time to come back into the present moment. Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Make a few notes of your experience.
I hope that you do not just read these words. The power comes from the experience of each of these centers.
I have enjoyed sharing the magic of the chakra system with you. Much love, melaniej
