How many times a day do you say, “I just love myself! I love my life! I love my intelligence and my intuition! I love my body! I love everything that I have created in my life!”
If those thoughts FILL your mind and you FEEL them in your body pretty consistently, you do not need to read any further!
This is not true for many people. We blame ourselves. We judge ourselves. We make ourselves wrong in a variety of ways. If we have been doing this work for awhile, these thoughts may be more subtle so we have to become even more observant.
Why is it important to love ourselves?
For one reason, it FEELS a lot better! In truth, what we HAVE we can then share. If I am angry, I cannot share peace. If I am steeped in lack, I can not share abundance, etc. Love fills us with joy, connection, happiness, fulfillment and so much more. Who does not want more love in their lives?
Whatever we want MORE of, we need to cultivate within ourselves FIRST. There is no greater power than the power of love. Love changes us. Love releases powerful chemicals in the body that heal us and those around us. If we believe this, then it behooves us to spend time cultivating and nurturing this energy within ourselves.
How do we do that?
GRATITUDE is the most powerful way that I know. The key, however, is to FEEL the gratitude, not just to say the words. I have been doing a gratitude practice with my Mentor Group using the book “The Magic” by Rhonda Byrne. I HIGHLY recommend it if you want to up your gratitude. This will take you far beyond writing down 5 things you are grateful for each evening. (Even though that is a great practice!)
I will write more on this next week but THIS would be a great start! I will share the link to easy access to this book. Well, worth your money.
Here is to a love filled day 😘 🤗 Melaniej
