How do you approach your day? Do you give yourself time to awaken, reflect on your day, create some intentions for your day, and decide what energy you want to lead you through your day?
Or do you just roll out of bed, jump in the shower, grab your coffee and head out the door………already fretting about what could go wrong today or still stewing about you felt did not go right yesterday?
This is not uncommon but certainly not empowering.
Caroline Myss gives some great ideas on how to approach your day:
“Review your plans for today:
1. Think about where you need to be and with whom you need to be.
2. Do you feel stressful about the day or do you feel comfortable?
3. Do you feel prepared for today’s events?
4. Are you projecting fears and expectations into this day?
5. Make the CHOICE to love this day instead of fearing it.
What great advice!
Let this be your practice this next week. Spend some time each morning reflecting on each of the points above………and see how you feel as you walk out the door!
