I hope that you have been working with the last two blog exercises. If you have, I think that you will be experiencing a greater flow to your days.

This week we are moving into the energy of the 3rd chakra (manipura chakra). This is the center for self esteem and self value. When this center is activated we can set boundaries, make clear choices that honor ourselves, feel empowered and strong. We stand tall with confidence because we know our value and worth. When we have an authentic sense of worth we become more responsive and less reactive. We are less defensive. When this center is activated we also support others as they are developing their strength and power. Competition falls away and support grows.
Exercise: Begin to settle into your breath and gently close your eyes. Slowly allow your energy and awareness to drop to the solar plexus and breathe there. Try to keep you awareness in the breath and in your heart. Notice how you are feeling in this area. You many notice some anxiety or nervousness, tightness, an unsettled feeling. Perhaps you are feeling strong because of some action you have recently taken. Just notice. Am I feeling strong? Am I feeling frightened? Do I need someones approval today? Do I need to activate my courage today? Are there any boundaries that I need to put into place?
Spend some time just breathing and noticing any thoughts that arise as you ask yourself these question. If you receive an action step to take or some boundaries you need to set, take some time to visualize yourself in that place. This begins to put the energy into motion in the present moment.
When you feel complete slowly bring yourself back into the present time awareness. Journal anything that you received.
This may also be a good time to begin a journal on Self Value. You may have a gratitude journal which is a wonderful way to focus your day. In the Self Value Journal, you will track the choices you made each day that showed self love/self value. When you have a choice or decision to make ask yourself, “What choice/decision will reflect my commitment to value myself at a deeper level?”
As we value ourselves more we develop a greater capacity to value others more…..it is a win/win.
Blessings to us all….melaniej
