This is the 3rd week looking at some of the material that Caroline Myss teaches around chakras.
Summary of the last two weeks:
1. Begin each day by reviewing your plans for the day
2. Take time to drop in and feel the deep connection to all of life.
This week we will sit with the energy of honoring each other. Here is the exercise:
Sit quietly and do the first two parts you have been practicing. Once you have completed this awareness, allow the energy of “Honor One Another” to begin to settle into your energy field.
Focus your awareness around the sacral or 2nd chakra, the lower back, hips and genital area.
The element here is water so imagine it moving through this area cleansing and moving. If you have felt very stuck creatively, emotionally, sexually or sensually it may take some time to get the energy moving. You may experience it as a lot of sludge initially. Use your imagination…. work with the image of a washing machine churning and spinning hot soapy water around to cleanse and move the energy. As you keep it moving, it will become lighter.
Areas to focus this cleansed energy on :
Emotions: What am I feeling? How can I move through these emotions? How can I build on them?
Pleasure: What can I do that will feel good today, how many of my senses can I utilize?
Creativity: What am I going to create today?
As you can see it takes a bit of time to really settle into each of these areas and practices. You can’t rush a spiritual practice and you do need quiet and space to do it.
If you take these practices on each day and build on them as we go along, you will begin to notice a difference in your days. I would suggest you keep a journal to see what you observe.
