Have you “paused” yet today? Have you stopped and taken a nice long, deep breath and just taken a moment yet today? If not, just pause, close your eyes and take that long, deep breath………
It is a very sweet place to visit. I often get the feeling “Oh, THERE she is! Welcome home!” It is a place of such ease, pleasure and sweetness. It is a place that once found you will want to visit again and again. It is a place of refuge, or restoration and serenity.
I have heard from SSOOOOOOO many students, “I just can’t meditate. It just does not work for me. I just can’t get my mind to quiet down.”
Just stop for one moment. Close your eyes. Take that nice long, deep breath. Let it go. Just let yourself settle into your body. Relax your shoulders, your face, your belly. Take a few easy breaths. Just enjoy settling INTO your body. You do not even have to spend a long time there. Just a few breaths, a few moments.
The day will even out. You will feel restored. You will find greater calm and clarity. You will feel more on track.
