If you practiced this exercise you will notice your day flowed more easily and you accomplished what you visualized. Hopefully you are dropping some of your fears and expectations and just enjoying the unfolding of each day, magical as it is!
This next week, keep practicing your review and setting up your day ahead of time in your minds eye. This week you will be adding to that. After you have gone over the review in your minds eye you will move on to this new exercise organized around the idea of Oneness. When we feel deeply connected we are experiencing the Oneness. When we experience duality we feel separate, me against you, win/lose. In the Oneness/Connection we feel supportive of one another, we feel a part of everything around us, we are engaged in a win/win mind/heart.
This week we will be practicing finding this connection rather than just falling into it accidentally from time to time.
* Lengthen your spine or stand tall, find tadasana if you are a yogi
* Drop your attention to where you are rooted into the earth and begin to breathe there
* Imagine you are drawing in the energy and stability of the Mother Earth
* Feel/imagine yourself connected to every part of Life:
The stability of the earth
The power and fluidity of the waters of the oceans and rivers
The spaciousness of the air
The trans formative powers of fire
The heart connected bond with family, friends, co workers
*Identify your fears for today
*Allow these fears to flow into the higher and more powerful energies you were just connected to
*Imagine yourself supported by this greater flow of connection
Don’t worry if you don’t FEEL the shift right away. Each day just repeat the practice. During the day, as fears arise, remind yourself of your powerful connection with the greater world, much greater than these fears and allow them to dissolve into this greater matrix.
